It's that time of year when the sun shines and we think about throwing off those figure hiding jumpers and revealing our bodies. And perhaps we are a little nervous that we haven't kept up those healthy eating habits or exercising as much as we promised ourselves. Does it really matter that we don't have a finely honed, toned, super slim shape?
The magazines and chat shows promote this diet and that diet, show super fit celebrities in teensy weensy 'yellow polka dot' bikinis or promote the latest fitness craze. Where does that leave us? Worrying about loosing those pounds before we strip off on the beach?
We can all look GREAT if we dress for our body shapes and we invest in good fitting underwear and swimwear. (I'm a fan of shapewear but not in this heat!)
Often we look at our bodies as a whole and eagerly point out all the things we don't like. I challenge you to look in a full lenght mirror and find at least five things you love about your body. You may have a beautiful smile, healthy glowing hair, great feet and hands. You may like the shape of your back, your long legs, your boobs. It's time to celebrate.
